A Bit About Math Map Mama
Hi! I'm Rebekah, your Math Map Mama! I am a wife and homeschooling mother of 3 with a Bachelors Degree from The University of Florida in Mathematics. I've spent the last 20+ years as a math educator, math curriculum developer, private math & science tutor, Classical Conversations Foundations, Essentials, and Challenge tutor/director and CC Parent Practicum Speaker. Having spent the last 13 years classically, I have honed my skills and fallen in love with Classical Conversations and the classical model of home education it offers.
Math Map Mama was developed from my deep desire to encourage, equip, and empower homeschooling parents to be their child's best teacher, in all areas, but especially in Math. As the resident "Math Person" in my Classical Conversations Community, I often field questions from parents about how to approach math classically and how to best help their students thrive when learning math. As The Math Map rolled out - those questions turned to concerns about the dramatic change that was being ushered in, I had a front row seat to the increased anxiety parents already had about teaching their children math at home and I just knew that I had to jump in and help!

Math Map Mama believes that the true magic of education happens at home. It’s not by being masters of every subject, but by faithfully leading the learning that parents impart wisdom and virtue to their children. We provide support and encouragement as parents endeavor to learn and grow alongside their children through the use of The Math Map.

Math Map Mama believes that no parent should feel alone in their Math Map journey and provides both individual and community support through live office hours, one-on-one coaching, and on-demand video courses.
